jays76 Verified Member Posted September 5, 2014 Author Posted September 5, 2014 Definitely going to need some help. Look at last night for example, every single team in the race won. Ridiculous..

dineke Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 What's their heart above replacement?
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 wat wish AA could get a couple of BORING players like Cobb, Archer , Smyly, Kiemaier etc etc
Caper Verified Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 One thing is for certain. If the Jays do make the playoffs, there is no way Wilner will ever mention on his show that he refused to call the season over when everyone else was asking him to do so.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 wish AA could get a couple of BORING players like Cobb, Archer , Smyly, Kiemaier etc etc Maybe he's talking about their personality? If that's the case than every MLB player is boring with how the sport likes to neuter people's personalities
ManOnThird Verified Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 No heart. Same thing as every year, when the pressure is off they'll happily go on a nice winning streak. But the minute you shine the spotlight on them they lie down and die.

jays76 Verified Member Posted September 6, 2014 Author Posted September 6, 2014 Lol at 'HEART'. Yeah I guess I could've substituted will to win or a number of other of sports cliches but I didn't think people would get such a hard on over the terminology. Either way the end result tonight was the ultimate kick in the bag and summed it all up perfectly, you truly have to expect the unexpected with this team..
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Someone thinks Longoria is boring. That's cool, I also don't like watching great all-around players that play for a team at a ridiculous discount.
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 LOL "heart." This team officially quit at the trade deadline, starting with Gibbons, who must just be trolling at this point and daring AA to fire him.

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Laffs are same way.... f***ing Toronto sports teams I seriously doubt any other sports city in the world has seen such terrible times as Toronto has To be not only bad but be bad at soamy different sports. Lol even the Bills as soon as they associated with Toronto they became terrible Such is life I suppose

Lol even the Bills as soon as they associated with Toronto they became terrible Such is life I suppose Luckily I am a Colts and Sens fan so I don't have to deal with the misery that is the Bills and Leafs.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Luckily I am a Colts and Sens fan so I don't have to deal with the misery that is the Bills and Leafs. Words that shouldn't be in the same sentence
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 To be fair when he signed that deal with the Rays he was completely unproven. He actually signed another deal at way below market value.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 It's just one loss. Plus, higher pick!
