Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Can't wait until Santos is recalled
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 janssens been garbage since he cried about aa not making any moves. Actually when you think about it, that was when the whole team really nose dived. Must be great for all the younger players in the locker room to hear your "leaders" have no faith in the team and are disappointed they got no replacements for you. bingo..
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 We'll probably lose this game. Their pen had the day off yesterday.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Oh that was a strike? LOLOL,

I rememeber saying it was nothing at the time, but now ,looks like a huge something. The other players must have been even more pissed... maybe at Bautista,Janssen, or demoralized, and not saying anything, and carrying it out into the field.
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Having a manager who is just stuck in that theory that you "stick with your veterans" just bothers me. You play this f***ing game to WIN, it really is as simple as that. This involves going with the hot hand and skipping on guys who aren't. When those guys complain, tell them to start performing and let their numbers do the talking or shut the f*** up. A manager with some f***ing stones, instead of a guy who sits there interview after interview and says, "well, the guys just din't have it today." What a f***ing cop out. Make decisions that BEST put your team in a position to WIN. This doesn't involve leaving a soft throwing STRUGGLING left to face three right hand batters in the late innings when you have a kid who has been lights out in the bullpen FFS. It doesn't involve taking that kid, who has, BIG SURPRISE, been lights out when you finally did bring him in, out for another struggling pitcher in the ninth inning. This f***ing idiot manages this team into the ground and is easily responsible for 8-10 losses singlehandedly with his stupidity over the course of a season.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Janssen and Bautista sitting next to each other in the dugout.Wonder what they are saying.
MrMariusz Verified Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Well, f*** this. Please no extra innings marathon
Vincent Verified Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Well, f*** this. Please no extra innings marathon If the Rays don't score then you can count on it, because you just know the Jays won't score.

Today, he left Buehrle in way too long and put Jansen in the 9th. 2 really bad moves. I want him gone next year. We need a "new-school" manager.

The sad fact is that there are many utterly clueless baseball managers out there. They aren't exactly recruited from the university of baseball management
