I remember when AA came up everyone thought he was a God and he fleeced everyone. Then it went downhill after the Happ trade.

 

BTW how did you mess up Rosenthal's name so bad? ;/ E and O are so far apart lol

AA seems like a great GM to build a team from the ground up with. He's good at getting young talent but when it comes time to go from a low 80 win team to a 90 win team he struggles. Also, his roster management in season is pretty bad.

Good to read up on some of the front offices I know less about. Some GM's are just notoriously bad and everyone knows it. Others are more quietly incompetent and aren't in the spot light as much often because of the market they're in.

He's horrible at handling the 40 man and dem options, like, the worst.

 

That's my biggest complaint. Hanging on to out of options fringe guys he just won't accept he has to cut. And worse yet having these guys (Sierra, Rogers, etc) stop him from getting someone better.
