JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Should have taken that one Narvarro!
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 No sooner does Buck compliment him on being a nice fill in for EE and that happened.
Vincent Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Despite Detroit's recent struggles they have one of the best offenses in baseball.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 2 good at bats and 2 terrible ones. Why?
Vincent Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Despite Detroit's recent struggles they have one of the best offenses in baseball. Actually I take this back, they have the best offense in baseball.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Too bad about the 8 pitch walk, but other than that, great inning!
Vincent Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Lol............................................................ Rasmus
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Ha Buck...lots of pretty ladies at the ballpark today.....SHES 105 Buck!!! LoL
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Oh ********, Buck. Don't claim that not having AL and NL umps is why the umpires can't call strikes because they're not familiar with the pitchers.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 How about they get their eyes checked instead of relying on what they know of the pitcher??

Don't claim that not having AL and NL umps is why the umpires can't call strikes because they're not familiar with the pitchers. I,m inclined to agree with him. I remember there wasn,t so many horrible strike calls all over the place/league. It really really sucks now!
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Man, Jose lays off pitches right down the middle.

It really really sucks now! I'm thinking it's more the quality of the umpires lately. He might be onto something, ie umps tend to know pitchers and their habits like hitters and catchers but it seems a bit sweeping to me as to why those s***** calls are being made. Seems like since integration there's another generation of s***** umps making s***** calls with no one being held accountable. They can phone it in and what's going to happen to them? Nothing. Jobs are secure.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 That was a strike Jose, stop whining.
