The rookie right-hander surrendered five runs and seven hits in three innings of Sunday's 6-1 loss in Houston. Cabrera entered yesterday's game as one of Toronto's hottest hitters. He had hit safely in 17 of his previous 20 games and was batting .392 (31-for-79) with a .455 on-base percentage since July 13. Tigers: Scherzer has allowed three earned runs just once in his last eight starts while going 5-1 with a 2.14 ERA. He wasn't thrilled with his latest outing as he gave up two runs and nine hits with three walks over seven innings of Monday's 2-1 road loss to the Yankees. Miguel Cabrera went 0 for 5 and is 1 for 15 over the past five games. He's 2 for 27 in his last seven against the Blue Jays and is batting .125 in 11 games at Rogers Centre since 2011, his worst at any AL park in that time. Comx Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 This is not going to be an easy upcoming schedule What are the chances we score more than 1-2 runs today? 10%?
Vincent Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 This is not going to be an easy upcoming schedule What are the chances we score more than 1-2 runs today? 10%? 1-2 runs seems a bit optimistic don't you think?

JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Juan owes Stroman a beer or dinner later. Damn did Stroman spin around quickly.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Oh that was a slick move Stroman.
Vincent Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Juan owes Stroman a beer or dinner later. Damn did Stroman spin around quickly. You can tell he's amped up tonight, and that's never a bad thing with him.
Vincent Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Rajai's always been dumb on the base paths, he was actually out 2 times there.
Vincent Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Jose Reyes: What a colossal disappointment.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Scherzer's going to get paaaaiiiid.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Well that was certainly an interesting first half inning. Let's see how the Jays respond now cuz Scherzer is tough.
Vincent Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Bautista and Melky, basically our only good hitters lol lol
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 You can tell he's amped up tonight, and that's never a bad thing with him. When Marcus is amped up and confident it's going to be a very bad day for the opposing hitters.
