HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 as usual oh s*** I misread the tweet I thought Aaron sanchez was injured lol
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Well say someone batting avg is .333 then chances are you will get a hit once every 3 Abs. A guaranteed single will always be better than taking your chances for a XBH. with the exaggerated shifts teams are playing I am really surprised that teams dont work on just slapping the ball the other way until the defense shows respect. they are playing big shifts for almost every hitter now. Rod Carew would have hit 500 against the modern shift. dude was one of the best punching Judy's to play the game.
abola2121 Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 the turf takes another victim Still better than the 1989-2004 turf...right?
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 What happened, stepped out? sanchez left injured, looks like he said he felt pulling
Comx Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 The other 4 parts of the rotation is still very good.. Who are you trying to convince... me or yourself?
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Who are you trying to convince... me or yourself? Not trying to convince anyone. Just saying its stupid to say the Royal are going to win the division.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 RA was dancing like his knuckler that pitch.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 The ump is giving Dickey some calls his way.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Damn! That one had some movement on it!
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 You don't send Kawa down. Good effort Dickey.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Dickey hit that turf pretty hard right there. Hope hes alright.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 The ump is giving Dickey some calls his way. Boy are you wrong....it's the catcher that decides....give credit to Thole.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Dickey hit that turf pretty hard right there. Hope hes alright. Who cares? All that matters is that he dove and hustled for the ball.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 The other 4 parts of the rotation is still very good.. Only if their offense remembers to hit.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Boy are you wrong....it's the catcher that decides....give credit to Thole. This ump has been pretty good at calling the pitch. Even when Thole has dropped the ball in the k zone hes called it a strike.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 good thing Dickey missed that ball. if he catches it he is not making the play going the wrong way. Nice play by saki!
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 how did sanchez get hurt, i'm just amazed there was a non blue jays injury
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Why the f*** is reyes bunting now? this is just being dumb
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Saki worth every penny. not hard when he's playing for peanuts. lol
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Saki worth every penny. Kawasaki and Stroman are our best bang for the buck players this year
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 O's now up 12-0. O's have hit 6 HRs tonight.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Why the f*** is reyes bunting now? this is just being dumb Good idea to get on base. But it was a terrible pitch to bunt on and an awful bunt attempt.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 This ump has been pretty good at calling the pitch. Even when Thole has dropped the ball in the k zone hes called it a strike. It's still Thole who deserves the credit for framing pitches so well.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 STFU! cf f*** you bro! #Justsaying
