EDIT: I think this trade signals that the Red Sox expect to be back in it in 2015. They have a few pieces on the farm and the cash to bring in some arms in the offseason. We shall see but I wouldn't be surprised to see them bounce back much like they did last year.

Dont get this deal at all from an Oakland point of view. Lester is a nice upgrade over Hammel, but their OF just took a huge hit. Gentry just broke his wrist, Crisp has health issues. Reddick sucks dick and Gomes is a platoon OF only.
