gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 I hope the jays can go to Houston and kick the s*** out of the stros as well. cant play down to the competition. They're in a good mind set right now,not happening.

Hopefully they do better than Oakland did this series, albeit it was vs. a Jesse Chavez who is tiring (innings) and an awful Hammel (NL pitcher at best). No surprise there are rumors Oakland is looking for another starter.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 They're in a good mind set right now,not happening. Yeah right.. Houston has only benefited from Oakland sending out a tired Jesse Chavez and an awful Jason Hammel, who is a huge downgrade from Tommy Milone/Drew Pomeranz/Brad Mills.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Yes its essential nose picking, spitting and crotch scratching are essential, but there is no crying in baseball. http://38.media.tumblr.com/a017568a0d11f3bcf7702f2c343c0b43/tumblr_mk3irrtL471rgjcwbo7_250.gif
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 No chance lol The front angle looked like, the top one not so much lol
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 They have Ranaudo knocking on the door, also. In that ESPN League Vik, I own Workman/Ranaudo and Webster... Don't forget Henry Owens as well.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Buck thinks there is too much emphasis on catchers hitting.... LOL big surprise from an idiot catcher who couldn't hit the barn with a tractor.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Holt continues to slump.. and Victorino is apparently hurt YET again.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 That or maybe he was just traded too
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 "When we come back Ryan..Anthony Gose will lead off." Have another shot.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Good job to limit the damage. Im still not a huge fan of having Buehrle in a big game because he relies so much on his defence and weak contact to get good results.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 there we go... 5 innings and only 1 run with 75(?) pitches?
Chappy Community Moderator Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 They have Ranaudo knocking on the door, also. In that ESPN League Vik, I own Workman/Ranaudo and Webster... I got Workman in the FC. Been a fan of his for a few years. A very under the radar SP, but should be a solid backend fantasy option.

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 How many people does everyone think shows up for that Baltimore mid week series? Is it unreasonable to expect a sellout (45k)? Cant remember a time this late into the season where wev had meaningful games.
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Its going going going .... to be another bad call by buck
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 I meant the Jays are in a good mind set and won't play down to their competition. My mistake.. sorry. But Oakland really should've swept Houston there.. too bad the Angels are still not taking advantage of it.
