burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Lol Melky actually had good range on that play. Im sure he ran a bit harder than he would of if that was the 1st inning.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Good f***ing job boys. I'm so happy. Now time for a cold one. What a great weekend!
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Yanks basically gave the Jays the game. It would be a shame if they didn't win this one. Just so angry that the Jays won. It must be horrible to hate the team that you ostensibly cheer for.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Sanchez first career W too!
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Navarro and Rasmus came through big today
Spoonovic Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 A lot of emotion shown on the field after the final out. Love it.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 No exaggeration, that was one of our best games of the entire season Good defense. They kept battling back even after losing the lead twice. Showed character if you will. (or make fun of that concept if you don't, go ahead) The SB by Bautista was awesome and set up the winning run. So many little things were done well. Awesome job guys. Awesome.

Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Can't forget about KAWASAKI, big sac fly
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Can't forget about KAWASAKI, big sac fly Also, a really excellent catch that he turned into an unlikely double play.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 now 3 against boston and then 3 vs houston. Hopefully Lind is back very soon.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 f*** Navarro is so terrible in the cleanup spot isn't he? Karma. He most probably is jumping up and down in joy but he cannot show his face here cuz he has been behaving like a fool all day long.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Can't forget about KAWASAKI, big sac fly What a great player. He does everything he is supposed to do, all the small fundamentals. However I hope he'll never play at third base for the rest of the season lol.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Now that was an entertaining game! Nail-biting, definitely entertaining and it capped the series win.
oakville69 Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 This game was fun to watch. I kept expecting the Jays to blow it, but they came through in the end. We are in for some very entertaining baseball when the injured players get back.

IBTrini Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 I wank Kawasaki extended for 1-2 more years and have him take Izturis' job Coming out of the closet?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Coming out of the closet? LOL Fixed
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Tomorrow's game is on National TV on ESPN too. Hopefully we have a good performance.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 How nice is it to get out of Ny with 2/3 and no Texiera to kill us.
kgm1 Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Nice to see Happ break his good game bad game streak with a decent 5th starter showing . Sanchez vultures a win and as always Casey slams the door . Huge SB by Bautista and while Navarro is probably the most out of shape player in the league his bat has been OK. Think what he could do if he was in shape.

MrMariusz Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Kawasaki is an essential part of this lineup. He knows damn well how to play small ball, something our HR-heavy lineup sometimes forgets to do. .

Think what he could do if he was in shape. he's getting on base and lately he is on another hot streak, but he clogs the bases. whoever comes up after him has to hit the ball in the gap just to get Navarro to second.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Jays are 7-3 since ASB. need to win at least 5 of the next 6. sox and stros are horrible teams. Jays have to take advantage.
dbyrks Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Great game to be at. Was on the edge of my seat for most of it. Nice to see Sanchez in person too, his fastball looks so good. Yankees fans are so annoying, especially the way they cheer everything Jeter does at every moment. Also some guys in front of me at the Friday game were chanting 'steroids' at Melky all game, yet one of them had a Jason Giambi jersey on! Smrt.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
