Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Win! Good job bats. Clearly Casey isn't alright, he shouldn't be pitching. That's back to back terrible outings for him. Rest up dude!
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Yup. That's where he got it. Who the f*** makes millions a year, and then visits a hell hole like that? That's ridiculous. I went and stayed at one of the "top resorts" there and I vowed I would never go back. Made me sick for weeks and as a whole was a mediocre experience beyond that. If I can afford to go to strike DR off my resort destinations, pretty sure CJ can as well.

Had ear infection first visit, but other than that, no issues. Keep in mind DR is one of the poorest countries on the planet. They can't afford the conditions we take for granted. A few common sense precautions is all it takes - eat cooked food only, bite into lime (kills certain bugs), brush teeth with purified water, keep mouth closed in shower, and if you really want to be cautious, drink a bit of pepto bismol each morning to coat your stomach lining.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 best time for sanchez to make his debut is with the jays down some runs, not protecting a lead low pressure btw Gose with a .340 OBP after 126 AB - isn't 140 AB the SSS threshold? He's on my 2015 opening day roster, no question.

pickoff22 Verified Member Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Did you ever go to Mexico? I have a few times yes. Been to Dominican twice. They're both on the lower end of resort-destinations and are priced accordingly, but I preferred Mexico personally. Never got any stomach bugs whereas I did both times in the DR. And found there was less of a language barrier with the staff as well.
