Jays: Hutchison, who is 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA in two career starts against the Red Sox, has surrendered nine runs over 11 innings in consecutive defeats. The right-hander is 2-4 with a 6.75 ERA in seven home starts. Melky Cabrera keyed the Blue Jays' 9-6 win on Sunday with a tie-breaking, go-ahead home run in the seventh inning, then a two-run single in the eighth to provide some much-needed insurance. Cabrera had his fingerprints all over the series, finishing 7-for-13 with a double, a homer and three RBIs in the three games. He collected six hits in the final two games, both Blue Jays wins. Blue Jays GM Alex Anthopoulos said he'd like to use right-hander Brandon Morrow in some capacity this season. Morrow is on the 60-day disabled list with a torn tendon sheath in his right index finger, but he'll head to the team's training complex in Florida this weekend to continue his rehabilitation. Rangers: Lackey is 5-8 with a 5.43 ERA in 20 starts against Toronto for his second-worst ERA against any AL club. David Ross clubbed a two-run home run off Kansas City starter Yordano Ventura in the team's 6-0 win. He now has four home runs in his last 10 games. Brock Holt is 14 for 28 over his last six games for Boston and entered Sunday as one of baseball's best two-strike hitters with a .265 average. He went 5 for 9 in the last series against Toronto between May 20-22. sdyment Verified Member Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 For those of you who know prospects... Is Brock Holt actually a thing or is he just a fluke that will regress? Did he ever have prospect status?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 I thought he looked tall as s***, assumed basketball player but wasn't sure if it was a Raptor that I didn't know of. That's pretty cool!

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Tristan Thompson One of the Canadians in the Cleveland Cavaliers organization I know who he is, but like I said I assumed it was a Raptor that I wasn't aware of
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 To: All I know who Tristan Thompson is lol. Kind regards, Orgfiller.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 For those of you who know prospects... Is Brock Holt actually a thing or is he just a fluke that will regress? Holt was never a prospect, and was a throw-in to go with Joel Hanrahan (who blew out his elbow months later.) Whether he keeps up his strong performance will depend how the league adjusts.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 How do you not know who Tristan Thompson is? Lol.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 I love the way Kratz moves and presents a target behind the plate.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Here we go with the terrible BABIP luck.
