G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Thats the difference between kratz and Navarro To be fair, Happ seems to be missing the target Navarro sets fairly often
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 If they're going to let a pitcher go out there and frustrate people by throwing 100 pitches every 4 innings, why not let it be Drabek? At least he has a possible MLB career.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 To be fair, Happ seems to be missing the target Navarro sets fairly often True. Happ has awful command. I just don't get what the Jays see in the guy as a starter. But Navarro has be better at calling the pitches too. Every time it's 0-2 the twins can just eliminate fastball from the equation and wait for the straight breaking balls. And the thing is, they're letting him throw meatballs to get to 0-2 and he can't capitalize on it

Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Does anyone else think Lawrie would be more effective at shortstop over Reyes ofcourse. I'm serious. I do
Convo Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Happ playing into the Twins strengths
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Does anyone else think Lawrie would be more effective at shortstop over Reyes ofcourse. I'm serious. He could play any position well
TheBoneCollector Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 The pitching has not been good the last week or so.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 for the last however many games, short of HRs, we really cannot cash Runners on Base (no matter what the outs or count is) and all the fanboys on this board are like "oh well, we have to lose at some point", "oh they are getting unlucky", "oh its just two days". Wake up. We are not talking about losses or games, but the plays that need to happen for this team to be a playoff contender. Everyone's like "omg trade for [this guy] or [that guy]" but you really think Shields/Samar is going to come and change the entire Blue Jays lack of getting in RiSP for the last 8 or 9 games? Like I mean... Reyes, probably our hottest hitter atm, couldn't deliver a hit when it was needed. For a board built on rational thought and numbers, you guys sure turn a blind eye to the the "negative" things that happen or chalk it up to this phenomenon called luck. That being said, GO JAYS. ONE HR CAN BRING US BACK!
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Ugg... Just get rid of this idiot
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Seriously can we just go to Jenkins now. Atleast he throws the ball over the plate. Yep Game is not lost yet, but it will be soon at this rate...
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 this is what happens when Navarro catches Happ instead of Kratz. wtf were u thinking Gibs?
kgm1 Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Going to have to go to the bull Pen. hope Gibby learns from this and Happ gets Kratz next start
Corporal Valdal Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I hope this is Happ last start like Cahill is ripe for the taking we better f***ing pick him up
