Stroman has been scratched from Friday's start with Triple-A Buffalo for reasons unrelated to his health, the Buffalo News reports. Stroman himself is unsure of the reason for his scratch, according to Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News.

 

Spin: Stroman may be called up or traded, but it's also possible that there is an issue with one of the Blue Jays' starters, which might prompt the team to delay Stroman's outing in case he's needed in the majors. He quite clearly won't be called up Friday, as he's still in Buffalo at the Triple-A Bisons' stadium.

If they are smart they called him up.... DFA'd Redmond and put Hendrick's into Redmond's roll.

 

I would hope not... a guy who has shown severe flyball tendencies like Hendriks has so far, is NOT the guy to "put into Redmond's roll"

I hope Hutchison is fine and they're just thinking of giving him an extra day. They had considered a 6-man rotation before, they might be considering this again.

my first thought is injury to a starter in the rotation and they don't want to disclose it yet.
