ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 The need for speed....is lost on AA because of his fetish for relievers.
bowld Verified Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Gose just generated a run all by himself. Double, steal and the quick break home. Speed kills!!
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Wow Beltre had no shot at Gose at home. Single handedly created a run. Gose would really be an asset off the bench. They have to keep him up no matter what.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Gose should start everyday for at least a month....or just trade rasmus
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 He had two strikes, had to protect, unfortunate but he didn't do anything wrong. In that situation, 0 out man 3/4 of the way to third, his job is to take a swing and miss strike and let the runner get to third.

No doubt, at the very least he's Rajai Davis 2.0 with far better defense. If he starts walking and limiting the strikeouts (even if it means weaker contact) he could also be a solid starter.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Bautista on base 4 times tonight. Just another night.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 For me that equals 5 hours later.............diarrhea. LOL Who cares about 5 hours later...as long as its great when you eat it.

Fact is that he hasn't shown that he can walk and limit the strikeouts. Unless he does he will always be a 4th outfielder/pinch runner etc.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Jesus... Brett crushed that.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 That's a run if it gets through. Why the f*** you gotta be so lanky Ogando?
VegaBond Verified Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Who cares about 5 hours later...as long as its great when you eat it. Tell me that when you're driving while stuck in traffic.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Damn it!!!!! So close to another run

Unless he does he will always be a 4th outfielder/pinch runner etc. He has shown that he can walk before, though the strikeouts have always been a big concern. The speed and the defense are legit, so if he can't stick as a starter we'll gladly take him as 4th OF.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Tell me that when you're driving while stuck in traffic. Your right....but I would still eat it
theblujay Verified Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Why hasn't Gose been on this team all year lol
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Lind? I thought him or Francisco initially but its a lefty... Too bad, Navaro seems like he is slumping

Unless he does he will always be a 4th outfielder/pinch runner etc. I'm pretty sure he's walked around 10% of the time in AA and AAA, but the K's are high, no doubt. Having a platoon partner would help.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 ... Looked like Navarro was pimping a medium range flyball there..
VegaBond Verified Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Your right....but I would still eat it You sir are a warrior! But damn I thought Navarro would get at least one run in.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Navarro is worthless to the team
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Bad luck on the Lawrie single, should've scored a run there. Seems like lots of LOB.
Ash70 Verified Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 goddamn it. Yet another f*cking wasted opportunity
