John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 f*** sakes Edwin.... What are you swinging at that s*** for...
The_DH Verified Member Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 How does Buck not recognize a homerun after a lifetime of playing baseball Probably because he never hit them.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Lind has a homer against Wilson.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 That ball was hit hard but Rasmus does play a shallow CF. I think i would have played Trout deeper in that situation, especially with Buehrle pitching. You have to take a bloop single from Trout there opposed to something over your head. It's early in the game but,he's that good. I know it's like the in thing to do to rag on Rasmus in CF for those balls going over his head, but you generally don't play deeper than usual when there's a runner on 2nd. And it hit the base of the wall, give the hitter credit for hitting it to the deepest part of the park on a line. You dont align your defense in the 2nd inning to defend the base of the Cf wall.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Clear the bases Lind. I'm not holdin my breath after the awful AB in the first
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I'm not holdin my breath after the awful AB in the first We really need a platoon partner for Lind like real bad.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Both Edwin and Lind went down on pitches near their eyeballs....
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 We really need a platoon partner for Lind like real bad. Francisco?
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 How is lind still on the team.....terrible vs lefties and he is batting 6th
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 We really need a platoon partner for Lind like real bad. Nah, two lefties who suck against LHP with extremely limited defensive ability is the Anthopoulos way.
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Unfortunately neither Lind nor Francisco can hit lefties. Lind shouldn't be in there against Wilson but we have no alternative options.

You also don't let the best hitter in the game beat you, especially off a soft tossing lefty. I know it's early in the game, but he's an exception IMO. BTW,it looked the ball hit the track first, not the wall, and i am not taking anything away from how hard the ball was hit. It's not Rasmus' fault either, coaching could have positioned him deeper if they wanted to.

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Never buy a guitar at that price from a goddamn flea market, you're asking for an incredibly broken guitar.
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 be nice if he hits 85 pitches this inning
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Not sure why Lawrie is being so passive at the plate tonight. There's being selective, and then this looking like you have no interest in swinging
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 This taking pitches like crazy is really annoying
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Not the day to complain about the strike zone as a hitter. Its tiny No s***, makes you wonder how the jays are striking out so much.... Ump isn't even calling the belt as a strike yet the jays up there hacking at the eyeballs, or just standing and watching crushable, pitches go by. The only one with a clue so far tonight has been Bautista
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Guys, You're allowed to swing the bat. Thanks.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Omfg....wtf are they doing
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Line drive Buck? The only reason it fell in is because Diaz is a midget
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 That's interference, he was nowhere near the bag on his slide
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 f***.. If Lawrie is going to stay at 3B, we need Goins' defense at 2B. That was f***ing horrible..
