jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Well this one is clearly on Happ.
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 LOL Lind swing at a terrible pitch down in the zone with runners on, good job.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Don't forget that JohnnyMAC diving stop, that was huge.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Well this one is clearly on Happ. Hopefully, the dumb media will call out AA for wasting Stroman in the bullpen infavour of this scrub.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Wrong lefty ! Lol Time to get out the Rum
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Having stroman up and starting happ is simply retarded I'm getting on the whiskey.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 If Janssen is indeed close to ready to come back, having Stroman in the BP makes even less sense now.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Don't forget that JohnnyMAC diving stop, that was huge. Yup. He most likely saved the game with that play.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Blue Jays seem to have near-combacks late in games on Junior Jays Saturdays. I think they came back against the Red Sox and lost 6-7. Same against the Yankees (I think). Anyway...
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Francisco 11K in 21 PA against LHP.

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 (edited) With a Career 14 wRC+ vs LHP it's not really surprising. Yeah, AA and Gibbons probably would be surprised to find this out. Edited May 10, 2014 by ElNik2013

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 On a more positive note, Norris so far tonight: 3IP, 2H, 0ER, 0BB, 5K.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 (edited) Norris: 4IP, 3H, 0BB, 6K. Pompey: 2-2, HR, BB, 2SB (17). Edited May 11, 2014 by ElNik2013
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Pillar: 2-2, 2B, HR. Now hitting .310. Mastroianni: 0-0, 2BB.

That said how long can this team continue with 5 inning and 2 inning starters . Mcgowan is more valuable in the pen and Happ is? Happless
The_DH Verified Member Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 So who goes down when Janssen returns? I'm thinking Stroman so he can start and put Happ on notice.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Happ is a piece of s***... bring on the Stro-show

Mcgowan is more valuable in the pen and Happ is? Happless I've brought this up already, but it makes no sense to manage Stroman's innings, but not Hutshison's. They could manage Stroman's innings while allowing him to continue to take a regular turn in the Buffalo rotation. If you look at the way Gibbons has used him + his comments about him, it seems they're babying him. Also, the longer he stays in the bullpen, the farther away from starting he gets. It really makes no sense to me to have to re-stretch him out in the middle of the season. This will probably mean they'll send him back down to Buffalo to start again thus giving Happ/McGowan more starts. Anyway, it is what it is.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
