I don't know how many more times fans can watch this team blow leads before they just stop watching to begin with. Something has to change.

I agree with all of you guys I'm a true fan and watch every single game but I can't watch much more. But how do you fix it? It's like the bullpen is one big hole, might as well trade Bautista and I hate to say that but he's at a high right noe.

I'll give you a hint: He has trouble with metal detectors and has pitched like s*** all year long. Ding, ding, ding.

I feel like we've had a whole seasons worth of bad beats in a three week span.

Yup, that's why it's hard not to over-react... Had the pen blow ups been spread out like they were last year, nobody would even care, when they happen seemingly day after day for a three week period, it just seems gloomy.

This pen could go on a two week stretch(unlikely of course) and allow no runs at all, and people would still remember the blow ups.

This pen could quite easily go on a two week stretch(unlikely of course) and allow no runs at all, and people would still remember the blow ups.

It's hard not to remember the blow ups in part because they're not getting the losses back and in another part because they could've been at least at .500 if not for the last 2 meltdowns, not to mention the previous ones. They should be 4-1 on this road trip.

I wanna know why Navarro isn't on the DL yet. 3 catchers no back up outfielders. If Melky reinjures himself who comes in?

The pen is upside down and backwards right now! Seems we go to relievers first and long men last ! Should not one of Rogers, Redmond or Happ come first when the starters go 5-6 ? They pitch 2-3 then the relief pitchers? I believe how and when we are using the eight man pen as cost us at least 3-4 wins easily already!

I'm guessing the idea is to use the short reliever to put out the fire and the long man to start the fresh inning. Just doesn't work though.

Dunno what OP is talking about, I haven't been more entertained by this team in a long time.

Sure, but it's like watching an enjoyable movie that ends terribly. Over and over again. It must be completely demoralizing for the team to head into the late innings with the lead so many times only to see it fall apart.

I think last night's game was a good example of poor management on Gibbons' part. Zaun nailed it in his comments again. There was no reason to leave Loup in there to erase a 4 run lead on 4 hits and a walk. Unlike many of the other blowups, last night's game wasn't about one bad pitch with runners on. Gibbons should have yanked Loup to try to stem the bleeding and retain the lead. And I don't know how many times he has to put Redmond and Jenkins in high leverage situations before he realizes that they can't handle it.

One more thing: when is Reyes going to start contributing? The way he's been playing since returning from the DL (again) he should not be hitting at the top of the order.

True take last night is a runner on second a fire even? Might have let dickey have one maybe two batters more. Redmond was warm already why then even send dickey out to start the inning? So many questions as to use of our pens deployment.

Gibbons has done this all year. Last Tuesday in KC he let McGowan go out to start the 7th to face Gordon, once Gordon got on, Gibbons pulled McGowan. I mean, if 1 guy getting on is all it takes to pull McGowan, why even send him out to start the inning, especially since they had a day off on Monday. Same with Dickey last night, just brutal.
