Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Thole vs the lefty still could have been a good result...using ur whole bench in 20 seconds is a terrible move Used our whole bench because it's a completely useless bench. I take my chances in the 7th with runners on then expecting sierra to come out in the 9th and make s*** happen
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Shame Reyes couldn't get up for one more at bat. Amazing how unsafe a 5 run lead is with this team. What happened to our stellar bullpen from last year? 16 hits and we still lose *sigh*
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 So leave in Thole to run? Why? Who would have played second then, Thole? No, diaz would have come in the next half inn and sierra would still have been on the bench

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Is it true that Zaun said something intelligent today? Apparently, he said that Gibbons should've used one of his top relievers to get out of the jam in the 5th and the long reliever to start the 6th. Hire that man!
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 That would be the nail in the coffin of me as a Jays fan. First move would be Lind playing every day probably. That's one of his biggest pet peeves with Gibbons.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Weaknesses tonight 1. Starting pitching (&Redmond) 2. The Bench Shocking, hopefully we come back tomorrow and take the series

guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 well i made a bet of 100 bucks knowing mcgowan was pitching and the fact that we were facing $$$ --- ACE TILLMAN -- $$$ so i guess that turned out ok but seriously what a f***ing s***** game, mcgowan is aids.....
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 That would be the nail in the coffin of me as a Jays fan. even a blind squirrel can find his nuts occasionally. doesn't mean you put the squirrel in charge.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Positives today: Pillar, Burns, Pompey, Smith Jr and Davis had good games at the dish.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 lol, Gibby is 100% in the right in this case. I know, that's why I brought it up. Zaun thinks all Lind needs is more AB's against LHP's. Anyway....
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Positives today: Pillar, Burns, Pompey, Smith Jr and Davis had good games at the dish. What about pitching?
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 What about pitching? We don't need no stinkin' pitching!
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 One last thing, I f***ing hate it when managers hurt their teams by trying to get a guy a W, just f***ing hate it. Why the f*** do some guys get a longer leash (Dickey, McGowan) and others a shorter one (Morrow). Anyway....time to sleep.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 I'm surprised no one's calling for Pete Walker's head.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 So when is Gibbons going to go after an umpire for the bad strike calls against his team? He seems a bit too relaxed. Ok, now I'm going to bed....
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 http://i.imgur.com/jwjQz9E.jpg The most promising thing about this game is Tillman is supposedly their ace and McGowan will be replaced soon. Tillman might have been the most overrated pitcher coming into the season.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 8 runs, 16 hit yet we lose... Wtf Dinger-runs: 6
