Morrow is 2-0 with a 2.77 ERA in two starts against Minnesota, with the most recent Oct. 3, 2012. Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista homered in Sunday's 11-3 win against the Orioles, tying him with George Bell for the fourth-most home runs in the combined months of April and May in franchise history with 29. Bautista now has 109 home runs as a Blue Jay and needs six more to tie Bell for fourth on Toronto's all-time list. Blue Jays outfielder Melky Cabrera extended his hitting streak to 13 games by finishing 2-for-6 with two runs scored and two strikeouts on Sunday at Baltimore. Twins: The Twinkies have lost 20 of 25 to Toronto and 17 of 21 home matchups since the beginning of the 2008 season. eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 All of this s*** is blocked at work. Who is in our starting lineup?
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 hope Morrow has his A game for more than 3 innings. Jays should kick the s*** out of Hughes.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Author Posted April 15, 2014 The poll was King's idea, thanks for that! Expect daily polls, you guys can PM me ideas too if you want me to get more creative (there's only so many questions I can ask for 162 games)

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Low scoring game tonight. Hopefully the OF defense doesn't cost them too much.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 yeah, Jose is wearing his big boy pants today. DAMN!! we need this one to go out way.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Hopefully Bautista does't separate his shoulder trying to dive for a ball... They better tell him not to play like he's Grady Sizemore out there, crashing into walls and diving for balls and such. The Jays can't afford missing Bautista for any extended period of time.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Baustista in CF. lol Its a good thing we've got Sierra on the roster!
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Hopefully Bautista does't separate his shoulder trying to dive for a ball... Also, if Bautista does get injured playing CF, I think AA should be to blame. Never went out there this offseason and tried to get a backup CF.

jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 My god, in what world is Bautista a CF. The GM of this team continues to surprise me how incompetent he is every week
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 We do have Gose who can run, catch, throw lol. Though can't hit. I'm shocked he hasn't been called up for the time being. It's crazy that the Jays are playing Bautista in CF. They can't afford him getting hurt.

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Author Posted April 15, 2014 Shame on the 9 people who voted that the Jays won't sweep thus far, especially to the 3 who said we only take one from the Twinkies.

Flamingweazel Verified Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 These are the types of series the Jays have to win, lets hope they don't play down to the competition.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 As far as the OF goes, I saw Alfonso Soriano botch 2 plays in RF the other day and we saw Schoop gift the Jays 2 runs on Friday. The Yankees have Dean Anna at SS with Jeter out, which is probably better for them defensively, but still, lots of teams have bad players on the bench. Am I saying 3 or 4 wrongs make a right? No, but it is what it is, I'll watch the games and enjoy them without stressing myself out over things that even the great Red Sox go through.
Flamingweazel Verified Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Shame on the 9 people who voted that the Jays won't sweep thus far, especially to the 3 who said we only take one from the Twinkies. The jays play down to the competition often, wouldn't surprise me if the Jays lay a few eggs in this series, plus our lineup looks pretty s*** tonight.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 +4 isn't that bad to be outside shirtless. But then again I'm really not normal so.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
