Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Sucks. They probably get 1000+ fans that drive 7 hours from Winnipeg, and they schedule it at such a s*** time of the year. Havne't gone in a couple years but there were Jays fans everywhere and that was before the big offseason, I'd imagine quite a few more would go if it was in the summer. There was a time I made the trip every year. Was going to go last year. This year did not work out with work.... There are a lot of people that still head down from MB. I might just go for a random weekend series this summer because I really want to see the new park.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Gibby hasn't posted lineup yet. I'd guess Colby gets a day off. No reason to play Colby tonight, especially when looking at the numbers for sierra vs hughes.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 So does Bautista play CF again? Dangerous Melky in CF, Sierra LF, Bau RF is probably the best bet.
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Looks like we're good for tonight Which is good cause I need a game fix! The AL East is up for grabs and we HAVE to pound the s***** teams at every opportunity. I'm with you, two days in a row without any Jays action is too much for me.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Whose idea was it to build a stadium without a roof in Minnesota?
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Thing is if there really is an injury in that Hamstring a day or 2 is not going to make a difference. If it is a hammy injury you need to be off it for a week. Before the inflammation goes down.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 15, 2014 Author Posted April 15, 2014 Melky in CF is a joke. Bau better play CF Neither is optimal. But Bautista probably still has slightly better range than the tumour less Cabrera. Plus he's a f'n boss so yeah I'd put him in center.

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Melky in CF is a joke. Bau better play CF Both are a joke but Mekly has played there much more throughout his career. He should at least have the instincts for the position. There's arguably more injury risk for Bautista not to mention you're rising a more valuable player with Bautista. Melky in cf is the lesser evil.

Your argument is persuasive
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Maybe they should give Thole a start at C, Kawasaki at SS, Goins at 2B and Diaz in CF...lol, imagine the freakout on this board.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Hes slower and he doesn't move as well latterly in my opinion. Melky looks better this year but still stiff. Bautista is the much better athlete. I'm picking my CF off that. Not the chance he might get injured. If its really that dangerous they won't play the game. Its going to be +7. Its cold but really not that bad. Just gotta make sure you keep your muscles warm when your off the field. I wasn't concerned about the weather specifically. I was just thinking someone who hasn't played a lot of CF would be more likely to be involved in a collision or something like that, doubly so with Sierra in RF.

Lets hope everyone does enough stretching before and during the game.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Indians @ Tigers postponed tonight due to frigid wind chills. I hope the Jays play tonight.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 I'm not going to be happy if I have to wait until 2am for it to get called.

flafson Verified Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Do they even have baseball in Sweden?
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Do they even have baseball in Sweden? do they have Ikea in Canada? seriously.... lol
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 I think they'll play tonight. Tomorrow's game is more in question, so by postponing tonight's game, there will be a good chance that two games will have to be squeezed in later in the season. Double header later in the season? Possibly, but the league will try to avoid that scenario as much as possible.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 how does Goins rate above Diaz`?
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 This winter has been ridiculous. Two days ago I'm walking around in shorts and today I have to break out the winter coat again. Enough Mother Nature. We get the point. I just checked the weather forecast, 0-20% POP all day in Minny. Itl'll warm up by tonight. Shouldn't be a problem. BRO ITS COLD AND SNOWY AS s***. The + side is lots of people didn't show and we watched the Lion King instead of Hamlet lmao
