Funny enough I am sure every player I have pushed hard for has been terrible.

 

Some examples..

 

- I wanted to draft to Sami Niku in the first round

- Nikita Gusev I was convinced was going to the hall of fame

- Hoglander...ehh, that one I guess was not terrible but yeah he's been no where as good as I thought.

 

 

And yet despite my incompetency, we keep rolling over everyone.

Why is the playoff tiebreaker set to highest seed first and head to head record second? (it doesn't matter in my matchup since I think I lose in both cases anyway)

I couldn't disagree more. Disregarding an entire season for one random week would be a huge oversight. Higher seed as the tiebreaker makes way more sense, in my opinion. Having earned the higher seed should mean something.

That makes sense, I had a discussion with BTS about this around the start of the season. I might've changed it then. We'll have a vote off-season, I'll redact my change, and it'll stay as it was. Thanks for the input.

Except the higher seed isn't necessarily the team that had the better record (or at least it isn't in baseball where the division winners get the 4 highest seeds regardless of record).

We have 2 divisions, higher seed still takes precedent.

Only if the top 2 teams aren't in the same division. I don't think it matters for this year anyway, but it's definitely something that should be figured out in the offseason.

I agree 100%. Using H2H record as a playoff tie-break is the dumbest convention in fantasy sports.
