He's just been asked for inside other deals for one of the centres. I'm leaning to just keep him if I don't get a better offer. I just can't give up a starting goalie for a 1st rounder and a prospect I don't really like that much.

I like dealing with Vanny, is always a fair trading partner. I almost didn’t carry both through the cutdown, and looking ahead at next year’s I’ll have some tough decisions to make again. This way I get to turn two very good assets into a player I’ve tried to get for a while and don’t lose out too badly in depth with Nylander coming in to fill Domi’s production.

 

My defense improves going forward with the 3 headed monster of Josi-Klingberg-Barrie.
