JG34 Verified Member Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Before dispersal we need to do draft and waiver lotteries to have those picks in the dispersal draft.

Maahfaace Verified Member Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 So are we aiming for tomorrow night to start the dispersal draft? Or do any of the others need more time?
JG34 Verified Member Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 So are we aiming for tomorrow night to start the dispersal draft? Or do any of the others need more time? It's really just waiting on the lotteries to be done. Some top prospect or waiver picks could be in mix in the dispersal draft that people will value more than available players.
GoldBull Verified Member Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 I'll put OEL, Mark Stone, Adam Henrique, Tomas Hertl and all of my prospects/picks on the block (incl. Brayden Point, Nick Ritchie, Mat Barzal). Looking for a top flight forward or a high dispersal pick.

The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2017 Author Posted September 1, 2017 Anyone know of a Draft order generator that allows you to change the odds and sends an email to other members? Only one I found only displays it on the screen, doesn't send out emails. Unless you guys are trusting enough to trust I copy/paste the actual order. http://www.draftpicklottery.com/
KT7 Verified Member Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 I'm OK with you running a copy and paste....if it was maaahface I'd be concerned. He would wind up #1, #2 and #3.

GoldBull Verified Member Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 So how will the dispersal draft work with regards to the prospect draft picks? Will the new teams be able to pick from all of the prospect picks assigned to the four teams, or are they just stuck with the pick slot from the team name that they inherited?

I think they should be able to pick each individual pick from the ones that were owned from the teams that left.
JG34 Verified Member Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 I think they should be able to pick each individual pick from the ones that were owned from the teams that left. This makes sense.
JG34 Verified Member Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Shits about to get real, all draft orders are set! Welcome to the new owners and thanks to every one who put in work to get this organized!
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 So for the dispersal draft, can we pick anyone from the players listed including prospects, or will the prospects be in a separate dispersal draft (minus the players over the 60 games)?

Can select all eligible players, prospects, or draft/waiver picks. Anyone in the prospect pile with 60 NHL games or more must be promoted.

What draft picks could we select with our pick?

What draft picks could we select with our pick? Any of the picks belonging to the 4 owners that left. You can see in the draft lotteries what the value of the picks are and I'm sure they'll be added to the dispersal draft list as well. First round prospect draft picks in the dispersal draft are: 2, 4, 5, 6 First round waiver draft picks in the dispersal draft are: 1, 3, 5, 6.

I was looking at the Google Doc and didn't see anything, thought I was going crazy lol

Interesting, didn't expect this but it is a solid and fair decision.
