Prospects must be promoted before the next cutdown after they have played more than 60 NHL games (playoffs are included). There are 2 drafts held each year, the prospect draft which is held in late June and the waiver draft held in September. I wouldn't leave LoD to focus on this as the WTPDL runs from October to the end of March, which conveniently is the fantasy baseball offseason.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping. If it doesn't happen, the 2nd rounder won't kill me. Seemed like a good risk to take.
