Yeah, I don't have a young goalie stud on my big league team, although I'm generally pretty high on Blackwood and McDonald on my farm.

 

My goalies are a mess right now, with Budaj being traded into a backup role, Fleury probably remaining in a backup role until next year, Markstrom possibly remaining in a backup role until next year (plus just got injured in the superskills competition), and Halak stuck in goalie cap hit hell. I should be fine next year, but not the position I wanted to be in prior to the trade deadline this year.

I struggled with the Laine, Matthews choice in the prospect draft. My C depth was already deep and was looking for a winger, my Leafs homerism made me pick Matthews! (Not that I regret it!)
