I would definitely bow out in a contraction scenario. You guys practically begged me to take over this team last year and this season I've forgotten to set my lineups over 50% of the time. Just not in it mentally.

 

If the contraction is 100% happening going forward, I would still manage the team for the rest of the year and unless you guys have any objections, I would probably also field trade offers for the high end players.

 

Basically, trading Crosby would be fun if the contraction is happening.

It should be a totally randomly generated draft order too, not based on standings. We're talking about Crosby here.

 

I'm not fully sure it should be totally random. It should probably be a weighted order generated. Maybe something like 4 groups of 4, with each group getting a slightly better chance at getting a higher pick. So the bottom 4 teams all have the same balls, but they also have more balls then the top 4 teams.

Big time keep it as it. Would be uncomfortable if the league didn't feel you got value for assets that would otherwise be part of the draft.

Just because I was thinking that trade might be the fairest way to redistribute Crosby, and Parise. Or at least a way preferable by the league. Also, creates some big action.

Same. I've progressively lost interest until this year the only game I've watched was Can-US on Boxing Day. I went from devoting 100% of my sports time/interest to hockey to 100% baseball.

Ditto. I always followed other sports, but they were always very secondary to hockey. Baseball has completely dethroned hockey atop my list, and NFL has even passed hockey for me.

Gonna guess the Leafs being s*** for all this time has been a major reason why there is little interest in hockey. As soon as they become good more people will become interested.
