jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Didn't FatCow ask out of the league? If so he shouldnt even be drafting
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 What does it matter, he hasn't been on Proboards since April(IIRC), same goes for about half the league. *shakes head* Why don't you tweet him, you guys said he's always on there? This sure isn't the DDL is it.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Just make random picks for him King. Pick names out of a hat or something lol.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Goddammit you're making me crave bbq, everybody shut up about meat! Sorry meat!
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 I know this is late, but the threshold for eligible draftees should have been around less than 5 games in the NHL or something. There is a plethora of guys who I've looked up that I wanted to draft, but have played maybe one or two games in the NHL before being sent back to the AHL. Obviously the whole "9 game" cup of coffee before the ELC kicks in plays a major factor, but this is one area where I think we should have tweaked from the DDL rules.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 The number of prospect slots should have been probably reduced. There aren't 200 prospects who are noteworthy
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Author Posted July 7, 2014 I believe everyone is using proboards, but some aren't using there main account. They are just signing in as a guest. I think I just fixed this. I made it so that only members could post on the forum.

They'll probably play this year though in the NHL. This was the easiest and clear cut way. It'll make the Yahoo draft better.

The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Author Posted July 7, 2014 I guess those guys didn't get back to you, in joining the League? I didn't get a reply from Tuco. Just sent Labadee one today.

havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Havok24 N. Ehlers LW/RW Havok24 N. Goldobin RW Havok24 D. Pastrnak RW Don Cherry does not approve of this draft.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 You guys don't need to use all your draft picks if you don't want to. I'm 'happy' to throw darts at a board with the rest of you, but with half the prospects out there being in-eligible right off the hop, 10 rounds is pretty damn deep.

This'll just help everyone increase their knowledge of hockey prospects. A lot may even end up being dropped by next draft.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Author Posted July 7, 2014 LOL.......I wonder what he thinks of the Leafs taking Nylander, I love it, personally. I just wish Nylander was better at punching stuff.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Author Posted July 7, 2014 King loves him some D I'm surprise anyone is able to take that many. Both big and small ones.
Frag Verified Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 No doubt, after the 6th/7th round it'll be mostly miss. Just watch me take the next Datsyuk!
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 LOL.......I wonder what he thinks of the Leafs taking Nylander, I love it, personally. He was pretty ticked off that the Leafs passed on Ritchie for some "undersized flashy European". He was like if they wanted a small and skilled player, they should have taken Robby Fabbri lol.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 I very strongly hate King's draft. Trying to draft a fantasy-relevent D-man seems like a fool's errand.
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Trying to draft a fantasy-relevent D-man seems like a fool's errand. Yeah, that's my thinking. I don't expect to draft a single d-man.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Author Posted July 7, 2014 Yeah, that's my thinking. I don't expect to draft a single d-man. You probably shouldn't bother drafting one in the roster draft either...
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Can we not go off the board as well to find someone
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 I PM'd him before I believe, I think he said he wasn't interested. I'll check CHP? The Dogg?
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 King create an emergency thread on the main board. See if you get any bites there.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Wilko said he's in. Anyone opposed? Nope. Wilko is cool.
Frag Verified Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Wilko said he's in. Anyone opposed? I'm cool with it.
