baseballsss Verified Member Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Do you guys have this? What do think of it? Do they let u try it for a month? i have it for ps3 and when i watch it on there it goes then freezes every 5 seconds. On my iphome it works great.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I have an ouya and it works fine on it. The odd time it exits and I have to reload.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Maybe you need faster internet. To OP: MLB.tv is amazing and excellent quality. Only thing missing is a functional 30 sec or 15 sec skip forward. Yeah, some way to skip commercial breaks when watching on archive other than doing it manually would be great. MLB.TV is the best. If you have a decent internet connection you should definitely get it.
Sorrow Verified Member Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 On my PC, phone and Xbox it works very well. The odd stutter or lag spike. On my PS3 it is unusable, it constantly chugs and freezes.

The price would be worth it in my opinion if the picture quality was good. They changed the player a bit this year and it seems to me that things run much more smoothly. I only have like 4 mbps download speed but this season I've been able to go pretty much every game without the quality dipping below an HD level. Last year it seems like it was always a struggle for me just to watch the game without constant loading breaks. Might just be something on my end though. Anyways, for me it's honestly worth the price of admission just to avoid the drunken ramblings of Buck Martinez.

Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Ouya?? Your the first person I ever seen that got an ouya. How is it? I mostly use it for XBMC to stream shows and movies. It's great for that. I've only played a couple games on it.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Unusable on xbox360...great on comp and great when/if they fix the xbox bugs
Flamingweazel Verified Member Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Great on XboxOne too. Damn son why you get x1? MLB the show on Ps4 will be godly.

The price would be worth it in my opinion if the picture quality was good. I get crystal clear HD on the PS3. Only annoying part is that they haven't gotten events working properly and rewinding can be a pain in the ass. Also, the video sometimes jumps backwards a few seconds for no reason. I don't know why the people running MLB.tv can't get their s*** together, but being able to watch any game I want for a pretty low price is ok with me.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 45mbps That's not the issue. I've ordered it the past four years and got a refund the same day. I have a dedicated HTPC connected to my TV, fast internet connection, and the quality sucks. Tired using the Windows 8 app, xbmc add-on, and just through Chrome, and they all look like s***. I'm just convinced people don't know what good quality is. I can count Tillman's chin hairs...
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 It streamss with absolutely no hiccups on my PC. I get the odd brief freeze on my phone.
Jim_Ackers_balls Verified Member Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Have MLB Premium which I use on the Roku 3. Works great. No need for VPN service in Brantford. Would recommend an ISP with unlimited bandwidth ( I use VMedia) because you will blow through bandwidth.
S33n Verified Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 It's great and the quality is also very high. It rarely hiccups, and there's no possible way for it to be any better quality in my case.
43211234 Verified Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 So has everyone else found that the games aren't blacked out this season? I think it was the same last year.
