fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 How long is he out for? No info, they say its 'mild'
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 How long is he out for? You know what they'll say, "it's minor, he's day to day".
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Jesus. WTF happened to him? Is it just a case of the NL being that weak htting wise? I mean' date=' the guy whad a sub 3 ERA and was throwing complete game 1 and 2 hitters like crazy. How the f*** does he go from that to this?[/quote'] He played in a massive park against lesser competition? Citi Field was an extreme pitchers park a few years ago. It's like how average relievers go to San Diego and all of a sudden put up sub 2 ERAs.
Eragon Verified Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 so it looks like the plan is to hit 6 solo HR's It's the Blue Jays thing - play for yourself, play for your contract.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 Ishmael Rogers, the Rabbi is in!
johannson Verified Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Why do our ABs look so easy compared to every single Rays AB ? Because the Rays teach their players the fundamentals of baseball, such as working the count etc.., while the Jays just send their guys out and cross their fingers

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 Almost a good play by Bautista! There goes the Dickey Effect out the window lol
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 LOL @ a mild hamstring injury. Anyone who has ever had a hamstring issue knows that there is no such thing as a mild hamstring injury. You can re-aggravate that s*** so easily.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Broken bat bloop, of course. Freaking Rays.
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 excuse me, 4/5th of the Blue Jays pitchers are projected to have sub 4 eras R u serious? Who is projecting that? Do you want to put money on that? Because I'd be more than happy to wager any amount of money you wish that this doesn't happen. I'd be more inclined to think that 4/5th's of their starters will have ERA's over 4.5
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 He's 38. Aches and pains creep in. Dickey looking butt hurt on the bench.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 He's 38. Aches and pains creep in. He's turning 40 this year bro lol
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Because the Rays teach their players the fundamentals of baseball, such as working the count etc.., while the Jays just send their guys out and cross their fingers It helps when the Jays are facing one of the better pitchers in MLB and the Rays are facing a #4 type pitcher.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Started from the bottom and we're still here
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 f*** off, double play ball is rolled that f***ing slow?? No mercy
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 MiLB season> Jays seasons Lugo, Nay, Dean, Cardona, Thon to Lansing
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 He's 38. Aches and pains creep in. I hope he enjoys his 39 million and movie deal then.....

I never said he's ever right, in fact, I don't believe that, but that's what his projections are. He has a lot of posts so some posters here think that means street cred.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Remember when Doc used to take the ball on Opening Day? Even if you weren't optimistic about the rest of the season.. you knew you had a pretty awesome shot to win that first game because he was out there. That OD game where Molina hit that long HR is probably my favorite Jays memory of the last 10 years. Sad.
spats Verified Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 The two trades last year will haunt this organization for years.I'd take Alvarez and Syndergaard right now over Dickey,Buerle and Reyes...never mind Hech,Nicollino,D'Arnaud.AA did such a great job getting these players and then give them up for this f***ing mess.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 the Blue Jays will chip away at this lead.. one HR at a time.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 Can we bring in Kratz now Dickey's out>
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Take a peek at Dickey's numbers in the second half.....it fluctuates but he pitched very well, it's one game fellas. Yeah he pitched well, but not at an elite level. Don't think we'll ever see anything close to his 2012 level.
