get booked in on a tasting tour. airport is still the best bet for stocking the bar, but if you are looking for something special to invest in there are lot of rare bottles you can put a down payment on. just remember to buy 2 of anything you go off on. sell the one for a good increased investment to pay for both, but you have to be able to at least test, so you buy 2. lol

All of the places have a little pub/sales area attached to them. For price of admission you get a shot. Also the opportunity to buy to take home. I saw a bottle going for 5000 pounds in one place. I think it was 100 years old. It becomes clear with extreme aging. Cupar near St Andrews is a big distillery area. Cupar actually means the kegging.
