Reimold chops a weak grounder up the third base line, basically a swinging bunt and No chance for Lawrie to get the out, but he still makes the play and made it close. Runner on 1st, 2 outs.

1st pitch ground out to Getz at 2b who makes all three outs this inning on grounders.

Off to the bottom of the 8th, Jays trailing 2-1.

Edwin has a full count, now his 4th and likely final AB of the game.

Another broken bat from Edwin, lines out softly to 3b. 1 out.

LInd up.

Sanchez still in the game for the 9th.

Almanzar grounds to 3B, Goeddert who replaced Lawrie throws wide of first. The Erros puts a runner on 1st with none out.

Xavier Paul up.

Cord Phelps up to bat.

High fastball, ball 1. Groundball to 2nd and they get a double play. 3 outs. Jays down 2-1 into the bottom of the 9th.

Due up, Lawries spot, Navarro, Getz

Tons of ground balls induced by Sanchez. Good outing. It might be time to send him down to minor league camp to get into his starting routine, but hopefully, being in MLB ST will have done him some good.

Johnson takes ball 1. Half swing, strike 1. Outside ball 2. Johnson takes it deep to LF off the wall, but hit it so hard it bounced right back to the LF and cant go to second.

1 on, Navarro at the plate.

Getz up to the plate showing bunt, bunts foul for strike 1.

Next pitch lined in to LF for a base hit, way too hard for Johnson to even think of scoring. Bases loaded, none out with Kawasaki coming up.

Mune fouls off the first pitch for strike 1. Line drive base hit for Kawasaki scores Johnson but again hit way too hard for the runner from second, Navarro still on the bases as Gibbons had told Navarro he will be catching the entire game today.

Tie game 2-2 with the bases loaded, none out and Gose up.

LOL.. It's the ninth inning. Doesn't that constitute playing the whole game with Navarro? Gibby makes me scratch my head sometimes.

Gibbons counters the pitching move with Sierra as a pinch hitter.

Takes first 2 pitches high for balls 1 and 2. Swinging foul, 2-1. Sierra lines a shot to SS, makes a diving grab to save the game for the time being. Bases loaded, 1 out.

AB is Kevin Pillar, grounds into a DP on the first bloody pitch back to the pitcher, easy underhand toss to the catcher and the throw to 1st to get Pillar.

2-2 to the 10th.

I guess he told him even if it goes to extras, since they have the day off tomorrow, Navarro will be in the entire game. Well, now they're going to extras.

Pillar, from what I've seen, has trouble with fastballs. Plus he's a free swinger, if he doesn't improve on that he'll be a AAAA player.

Gibby must be a mind reader because that situation was a no brainer to pinch run for Navarro.

Sikula goes 1-1 to Buck Britton, changeup fouled off 1-2. hard to know exactly what happened next since all they are taking about is how the pitcher spells his name "Arik"... 3 or 4 pitches were missed. He flied out to RF on what must have been a full count. 1 out.

Yeah, he had the saem situation back in the 7th or 8th and probably would have done the same thing back then.
