Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 I hope im wrong but i just dont see Goins working out this year.
Sparky12 Verified Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Sean Nolin everyone forgot about him. Shocked you haven't even heard his name for rotation job. Will be in Buffalo. But can't forget about him. Won't make the team out of st, but I'd think there's a very good chance he's up at some point this year, nice to have a little more depth at SP this year, really gonna need a couple guys to put it together tho
Brenner Verified Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 People seem quick to jump on Sierra's jockstrap. He played more in winter than most players shouldn't be surprising that he has better early timing.
The_DH Verified Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 I think Nolin goes down for a month and then is in line to replace whoever breaks down.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 1 up 1 down for Sanchez!
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Dirty Sanchez...................................
Sparky12 Verified Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Jiminez looks good back there
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 In a meeting all day so.just going by Twitter updates. Sounds like Sierra looked better in the OF?? Want to see lots more obviously but some early signs of improvement would be encouraging. I worry the team might make a bad decision on him due to option status and I only want him on the team if he can play a position acceptably well.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 he has lost the zone all of a sudden
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Jiminez looks good back there Yeah, he really does.
Sparky12 Verified Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Great movement, no control
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Well..........That could have been worse!!!
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 He'll have plenty of time to refine his mechanics in New Hampshire, which is where he's headed.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 New rules regarding collisions at the plate, that's why Nanita didn't barge at the catcher.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Good game today. Tons of positives, one or two small negatives. Been especially impressed with the defense early on, as well as the hitting approach.
