I'm done listening to this garbage... The sports journalism in this city is actually more embarrassing than the baseball team.

 

Journalism as a whole in this city is embarrassing. All you need to do is look at the two to three yahoos parked outside of the Mayor's office every day lobbing loaded questions at anyone who speaks about him to see that the journalistic integrity this city once had now amounts to nothing. Sports, local news, entertainment, it's a lost art.

We're getting to the point where the starters won't be ready for opening day.

 

Little premature on that, since pitchers and catchers haven't even reported for all teams yet. They should be at the same point right now as everyone else, and should be able to absorb a week or two on their own. Once games actually start though, then it starts getting a little more dicey (unless you're a guy like David Wells). I agree though that they must be starting to get pretty desperate, and should sign sooner rather than later.
