TheHurl Site Manager Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 OMG Tampa getting shut out AGAIN They are believing the hype that they can only draft when they have number 1.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Joey Gallo crushes his 2nd home run in his 2nd AA game... Alert the feds, because I'm in love with this kid. Gallo is a beast.
BTS Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 With a 2-2 count Kuma just struck Jeter out twice looking. Jeter walked. Looking forward to him retiring.

TheHurl Site Manager Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Nats starters have gone 50 strikeouts since their last walk. 7 games, 49 innings...probably the most impressive stretch in history.

Caper Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 What is the record for most consecutive games (or innings) a team went without scoring a run?

Spoonovic Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 OMG. Cespedes made the greatest throw I've ever seen to nab Kendrick at home. Wow.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 A lot of ppl are calling it the greatest play of the year..but I'd prefer something more pure...he did botch the ball initially which set up the great play.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Well post a video of it guys! GOD

baseballsss Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Thanks. while it was an unreal throw, i wouldn't say best play of the year. He screwed up at begining making it look not that great
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Ya, the screw-up takes away from it. I've seen better plays this year.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Alert the feds, because I'm in love with this kid. What you and a minor league baseball player do in the privacy of your bedroom is no business of the feds! With a 2-2 count Kuma just struck Jeter out twice looking. Jeter walked. Looking forward to him retiring. Did he jackknife out of the way both times? Oh Jetering, I'll miss you when you're gone (no I won't).
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Pinto demoted. AA, do it. Guy can hit and take walks

HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 thought you said Nick Punto and wondered what the fk are you on about
8D Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Haven't seen the vid yet. Is it better than Bo's? http://youtu.be/cIqtDykn0l0?t=58m20s
8D Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 http://giant.gfycat.com/BouncyEnergeticAurochs.gif gif doesn't do justice, though http://m.mlb.com/video/v33614681/oaklaa-angels-challenge-play-at-plate-in-the-8th/?partnerId=as_mlb_20140611_25748436 I think Bo's was better because he didn't mess up the play, it was Harold Reynolds running and I think Bo was slightly further but that depends on the park dimensions. But that was a f***ing canon. What's the grade on Cespedes' arm? I never knew he had an arm like that!!!
8D Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Dunno, in terms of accuracy I think they're both pretty on the money. Maybe Bo's was a little better beacuse it was a bit lower and more fundamentally sound because of an easier transition for the tag. Harold Reynolds is also much faster than Kendrick. I also think bobbling that ball a bit more gave Cespesdes a bit more time to think things through in his head, whereas Bo was just running on instinct. Really, IMHO, 1A vs. 1B. Pretty damn tight. Who has had the best infield throw? I still can't think of anyone better than Machado's at Yankee stadium. That was one nuts.
