The Angels are nothing short of a disaster. Brutal pitching depth. Aging players with some of the worst contracts in the game. Pujols looks like he's almost done and they still owe him 189 million dollars!!!!

 

In 2017, they'll be paying a combined 58 million dollars for Hamilton and Pujols and they'd be lucky to get 3-4 WAR combined out of the two of them!

The Jays took Syndergaard with the comp pick they got for not signing him though. It worked itself out.

 

You should cheer for Paxton because he's Canadian and the M's are a fun team!

Oh, and the Yanks lost again to Houston. Makes you wonder what they'll do in Toronto.. if they can't hit bad Astros pitching, they're in big trouble.

Who do you fire though? This team is in the situation it's in because of reckless spending of Arte Moreno. It's not Sciocias's fault that they keep bringing in these past-prime scrubs.

Yes. Of course, we'll see what happens when they face a real team in the Oakland A's. The Angels, like the Phillies, are a train wreck with no hope anytime soon.
