RIP Michael Weiner

We have enjoyed nearly a quarter century of labor peace and stability, and it is important to see if the new heads to the front of both sides will be able to keep the industry in a similar situation.

 

Weiner's departure puts the MLBPA in a dificult situation, if not leadership vacuum, definitions and important future negotiations with MLB, which for its part also faces a leadership change process with the departure of Bud Selig.
