The jays best chance at contending is having a guy like stroman step into the rotation and be a legit starter. The rays have young guys do it successfully all the time, now it's our turn.

 

 

 

Just imagine if they had stayed the course, Syndergaard, Stroman, Hutchison, Nolin and Romero at AAA and Nicolino and Sanchez at AA to start next year. Plus 2 top 11 draft picks coming up. Oh well, too late now.

I'm sure that Sanchez is, but he and Stroman are best buds so I wouldn't expect anything otherwise from Stroman, he's pretty open about supporting his boys, no that there's anything wrong with that.
