Bautista won't be traded this off season, AA doesn't have the balls nor the authority as it would be a marketing nightmare even with Jose's whiny reputation.

 

I could see Bautista getting traded next July if the team stinks again in the first half. The team could get a nice haul for Bautista, EE and Dickey. Maybe even for Rasmus, if he maintains his performance, Reyes and Buehrle.

Bautista 3Ys/42M is a very favorable contract. Many here underestimate the Jose's value. We have a great asset in Bautista 3/42.

I'd bump that with Rasmus' 4.8 fWAR ranking 4th in the AL and 9th in baseball among outfielders, but I don't remember my login info to the MLB boards.

Just read over the last page of the thread. Hand-shakes and ass-pats all around. They have no idea that Colby just had a 5-win season and that the trade was undeniably something of a pillaging by AA.
