Jays Verified Member Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 One more at bat and JP's average is .199 He's just clinging onto that 0.200
DH12 Verified Member Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 they should really get something good for rasmus if they trade him for pitching help
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Wow , Lawrie and Bautista would have lost it on that last call on Davis . That wasn't even close . Must be get away day for the UMPS
Jays Verified Member Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 LOL Gose. Before Rasmus even caught it I thought to myself, Gose will probably run into him
BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Gose is always doing that s***
Jays Verified Member Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Buck loves the Myers/Shields trade for the Royals.
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 They'll sign Cano and have a healthy Tex/Jeter/A-Rod/Pineda, etc, etc, it would be crazy to write them off? Arod will probably be suspended for the year so they free up 20 + mil to sign some pitching help . Add Pineda to that mix and they will again be tough . AL East is again going to be damn tough .
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 They'll sign Cano and have a healthy Tex/Jeter/A-Rod/Pineda, etc, etc, it would be crazy to write them off? too many assumptions with this post. cano might not sign arod might get suspended jeter's injury might persist again
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Yankees are terrible. They survived the .500 mark this season. But next year this team is going to finish last in the division. I have a feeling they will lose Cano. Hes got to look around and notice its all him now. Mark Texiera isn't going to save this team. Would love to see them lose Cano Just not to any other AL East team But who besides LA or Boston (who don't even need a 2B) could afford??
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 too many assumptions with this post. cano might not sign arod might get suspended jeter's injury might persist again All depends who they can retain/sign, but they can't keep doing it with everyone on 1 year 13M contracts anymore
BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 They'll sign Cano and have a healthy Tex/Jeter/A-Rod/Pineda, etc, etc, it would be crazy to write them off? They won't have Arod for most or all of next year. Anyway he'll be like 38 and he's not the player he was. Jeter will be 40. Pineda...who knows what he is after all the surgeries. They won't necessarily sign Cano, either. Their farm system doesn't have anything ready for the next couple years. Texeira will be back but it's another player on the downslope who's stats have been declining. It won't be easy for them to turn the tide against all that.

DH12 Verified Member Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Yankees will be right in the mix again next year. Jays will be in last place again
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 LA seems the only other fit for Cano but I expect the yankees to anti up Me too They really can't afford to let him walk
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Nah, he'll win his case, at worst 50 games. As for the division being tough, I have no doubt. I think He loses his case Jay , but I hope your right . Aroid at that salary hurts the yanks
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Dodgers. That's the LA I meant
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Don't read a lot into this start of Happless,s This version of the yankees is not a very good team offensively
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 People say this every year about them, I hope they're right. I said that this spring and what is our record against them ? Never count the yankees out
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Can they really not invent some kind of softer turf. They have to be able to. Or just put grass in there...
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Arencibia September OPS .165
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Can they really not invent some kind of softer turf. They have to be able to. It does feel pretty soft I've walked on it (Obv different than playing on it every day but still...)
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 What's the Blue Jays record for most consecutive games with a HR???
GD Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2013 Author Posted September 19, 2013 What's the Blue Jays record for most consecutive games with a HR??? Somewhere from 5-8? I think Cansenco may have it.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 This is how you pitch to JP:
