P2F Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2013 Author Posted September 6, 2013 This is my first crack at a GDT. Aaaaand it sucks, so I'll probably leave it up the fatcows of the world from now on.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 I like it It suits the import of the game
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2013 Author Posted September 7, 2013 I like it It suits the import of the game Excellent point. #tanknation
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2013 Author Posted September 7, 2013 It's pretty good actually. Thank you, sir.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Good start. Not that it matters...
theblujay Verified Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 I think next year we should switch it up and let a bunch of people make GDTs just for some variety.
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 damn i wish melky was playing, we'd prolly be down 4-1 if he was in LF

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Nice throw there by Sierra (although maybe slightly high, it got there so fast the cutoff didn't matter)
theblujay Verified Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Fatcow DFA? Give him some time off and mix it up
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 damn i wish melky was playing, we'd prolly be down 4-1 if he was in LF 2014 full time DH
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Reyes - SS Choo - LF Encarnacion - 1B Bautista - RF Cabrera - DH McCann - C Lawrie - 3B Rasmus - CF Goins - 2B Bench - Gose, Izturis, Buck Like???
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Reyes - SS Choo - LF Encarnacion - 1B Bautista - RF Cabrera - DH McCann - C Lawrie - 3B Rasmus - CF Goins - 2B Like??? I don't think we can afford both Choo and McCann. That would be one hell of an offense though.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 I don't think we can afford both Choo and McCann. That would be one hell of an offense though. Would be one of the deepest lineups in baseball But yeah, to be realistic replace Choo with Gose or McCann with Ruiz (but not both)
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Impressive by Gose. That was a routine single for almost anyone else.

Putting aside finances and reality for just a second, that is an absolutely boner-inducing lineup (minus Goins).
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Putting aside finances and reality for just a second, that is an absolutely boner-inducing lineup (minus Goins). It's Texas Rangers circa 2011 level deep
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Putting aside finances and reality for just a second, that is an absolutely boner-inducing lineup (minus Goins). Amazing what subtracting Bonifacio and Arencibia and replacing them with good players can do
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2013 Author Posted September 7, 2013 Amazing what subtracting Bonifacio and Arencibia and replacing them with good players can do It's amazing how incredibly futile those two players are/were.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Trade bautista...move rasmus to LF...I'm good with Gose abd Sierra next year

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 http://27.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lzv3r1dRXE1qg3eoho1_500.gif No....we NEED PITCHING!!!!!!!
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 I really dislike the high camera angle they're using. It makes it hard to see the movement of the knuckleball.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 No....we NEED PITCHING!!!!!!! You're right, Sierra could be a nice bullpen piece lmao
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 I do bet goins starts next year.
over500 Verified Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 yay september wins are so exciting especially when they're -1000 games under .500.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 I do bet goins starts next year. i hate so much that you're probably right
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 i hate so much that you're probably right Other than cano, are there any other 2b available that can hit and play defense.
