connorp Old-Timey Member Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 I didn’t dabble in gambling this year after all, but I can see parlays is like the bread and butter for all those apps. Easy to understand why as it slanted heavy to the house. There’s a story on main page ESPN about a guy that won $5.5m on a $500k bet for 4 team parlay but seems to heavily favor the house. Just in terms of payout is you placed single wagers and rolled it: $500k > $1m $1 > $2m $2m > $4m $4 > $8m So not only does the house get to lock you into essentially having to win 4x in a row, they also have to pay out a lot less for it if you do win
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 The Thursday Night Football game was awful haha. They figured they would put Aaron Rodgers on SNF tonight, but that injury in Week 1. Boring primetime games this week. MNF tomorrow shouldn't be bad, but Bills should kill the Broncos. There were some truly terrible games this week. I sat through the Pats game because I had money on it, I can't understand how Belichick just accepts having two QBs who can't throw for s***. They had two RBs putting up strong games, but no threat through the air at all.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 What a bore so far for MNF lol. Bills are such a frustrating team. Allen ain't no MVP haha.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 That's a TD. He dragged his foot, Bills down 10-0
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Bills are very much life the jays. Became the WC team that was dangerous 4 years ago or whatever. Then started being the sexy Super Bowl pick and keep disappointing, though not on same level as Jays

Then started being the sexy Super Bowl pick and keep disappointing, though not on same level as Jays Bills might even miss the Playoffs this season haha.

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 You going to say that every week like it's some sort of dunk? I wasn't buying the Bills hype and Josh Allen hype at the beginning of the season like you were. Allen isn't an MVP this season bud haha. Unless he takes the Bills 8-0 the rest of the way. Bills now a 1.86 Money Line, so put $15 down on them.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Nice drive! An MVP type of Drive!

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Money Line now at 1.41 haha. Glad I made that bet at 1.86 a couple minutes ago. Wish I put some more down but oh well. In-game betting sometimes is better than betting before the game.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 k.....¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Pays for two beers at a bar, or buys me a 6 pack so not complaining haha.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Fugly game by the Bills in there house, at least the D showed up, or this would've been over by now. WOOOOOOOO... Josh, lol.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 This is just a chipshot, ballgame. A 12 man penalty on a missed field goal, lol... you can't make this s*** up, they sucked tonight.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Haha. Loser. May as well watch the Packers. Yeah, I watch the Packers, I stick with my team ya f***ing dingleberry. How about them Redskins!
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Bills are the most frustrating team lmao. What a joke!
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Josh Allen is nowhere close to being MVP this season. Spanky you're a dingleberry!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Josh Allen is nowhere close to being MVP this season. Spanky you're a dingleberry! Yeah, and Tua is... Aren't you a Bills fan?
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Yeah, and Tua is... Aren't you a Bills fan? Season tickets haha. As a Bills fan, Allen has been super frustrating given his talents and skillset. He's not the smartest QB out there and an elite QB needs brains. Allen sometimes doesn't have one. I'll take the experience of Mahomes, Burrows, or Hurt in the NFL Playoffs/Super Bowl any day over Josh Allen.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Bills are 5-5 and their next four games are against the Jets, Eagles, Chiefs and Cowboys. Season is definitely on the line for them. They can't afford to go 2-2 or 1-3 over these next 4.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Bills fire their OC. Not sure how long he’s been there. Pretty point blank statement though. “We’ve relieved him of his duties”.. as in fired, not play calling taken away Not even a follow up statement like “we’d like to thank him for all his contributions and wish him success”
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 In terms of where a team would be without a player, CJ Stroud almost seems like a legit MVP candidate. Dude is ballin. I’ll have to tune into a Houston game.

connorp Old-Timey Member Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Is it me, or does it seem like Starting QBs have been knocked out for the year more than any other. I haven’t seen any article on it, but seems it
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Rodgers, Watkins, Cousins, Jones, Burrow, Richardson.. not sure I’m missing anyone. Couple guys have missed a lot of games.. maybe it’s normal, idk

Couple guys have missed a lot of games.. maybe it’s normal, idk Yeah a lot of QBs out long term this season it seems. Sucks to see that. Browns are 6-3, have one of the strongest defensive teams, yet lose both Watkins and Chubbs for the entire year.

I wonder if we’ll still see them in 2025

I wonder if we’ll still see them in 2025 Brady could have still played this season for sure. He should have signed with a team who needed a QB before Thanksgiving. Instead of playing a full season, sign somewhere at the beginning of November, get ready to play for Thanksgiving and start around 8 games to end the regular season and into the Playoffs. Helps keep someone like him fresh. He should do that for next year maybe. Definitely would create a lot of buzz. He definitely would help a team like the Vikings, Jets or Browns.
