However, saying "Peyton Manning is not great" or "Aaron Rodgers is not the best player in the world and even suggesting so is a f***ing stretch" does not grant you such allowances.

Favre is probably on the periphery of the top 5 for me, I see him as more of a Top 10 guy.

 

Off the top of my head...

Top 5 is some order of Montana, Manning, Brady, Marino and Elway.

Top 10 would be some combination of these guys: Favre, Rodgers, Bradshaw, Unitas, Young, Staubach. I like Tarkenton and Kelly too, but I understand leaving them out.
