dineke Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Arizona vs Carolina... Worst 2 teams in a playoff match-up ever?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Arizona vs Carolina... Worst 2 teams in a playoff match-up ever? Cards are f***ed with no QB and Fitz playing with a strained MCL, but yeah, pretty awful.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 At least we did something right. Jesus i was scared for a bit. Mariota or Winston...... Winston i think has the better skill set but Mariota is less likely to end up in prison....
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Mariota or Winston...... Winston i think has the better skill set but Mariota is less likely to end up in prison.... Yeah. I agree that Winston is the better QB based on skill alone. But yeah, Mariota is the likely pick....i'm not huge on the guy but his skill set should be okay in today's game. How did you end up a Bucs fan? for me i grew up in Newmarket and played rep football on the "Newmarket Bucs" starting when i was 10 years old and we had the same orange uniforms so i became a fan then even though they were complete s***.

SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Arizona vs Carolina... Worst 2 teams in a playoff match-up ever? Nah, Carolina is looking decent right now. Per numberfire, in week 13 their D was ranked 21st and by week 17 it was ranked 10th. I think they'll beat Arizona pretty easily and give Seattle a good game. In previous years their style had f***ed with Seattle (really close games)
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Arizona vs Carolina... Worst 2 teams in a playoff match-up ever? Carolina has played amazing football over the last couple of weeks - they are a different team and have really turned things around. Newton finally looks like his old self, the defense has played much better. They have their RB's healthy now in Stewart and DeAngelo Williams is expected back next week.

Their recent win streak was against the Saints, Bucs, Browns, and Falcons. They're a bad football team.

Was a huge fan of Warren Sapp and then that turned into a fan of Ronde Barber, and Derrick Brooks and that whole early 2000s defense and it just stuck. Now hopefully they can build a great defense around McCoy and David 2 of absolute beasts.

They are not a bad football team lol - when healthy they are very good and we've seen that over the last 4 weeks. Sure Tampa Bay and Cleveland (at the beginning of their slide) were easy wins, though playing in New Orleans and Atlanta on the road and completely destroying them isn't that easy to do.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Decent only because they were playing other s*** teams. They're 25th in total DVOA per Footballoutsiders. This team was 12-4 last season and sure they are not that exact same team that dominated last season, though since now they've put a couple of things together now and have Cam back looking close to 100%, this is a much better team than they were in October and November.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 They are not a bad football team Well we'll just agree to disagree then. I do think they will win against the Cardinals though.
canadiansportsjunkie Verified Member Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I wouldn't call them a bad football team they are more balanced then my sad Falcons. However they aren't going to make far, they could beat Arizona but I doubt it
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Give us CAR fans something to hope for! On another note! Both my teams make the playoffs! Bad news... they are the Panthers and Ravens so it may be a short post-season
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Predictions for wildcard weekend guys? Panther, Steelers, Colts, Cowboys for me Ditto.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Predictions for wildcard weekend guys? Panther, Steelers, Colts, Cowboys for me Ill take the same but have the Ravens instead of the Steelers.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Panthers/Ravens/Bengals/Cowboys.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Didn't see a NCAAF thread but that Cotton Bowl was amazing. Really excited to watch the Rose Bowl with the best 2 QBS for the draft matching up as well.
canadiansportsjunkie Verified Member Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Cardinals / Steelers / Colts / Lions
Nox Verified Member Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Lane Kiffin used to be an NFL coach lol. What a complete knob.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 So apparently Cleveland spent 500k on a study that studied college quarterbacks throughout the past 20 years and how their collegiate careers affected their pro careers. According to the data, Teddy Bridgewater projected to have the most successful career out of any eligible QB prospect. Of course being them, they draft a nutcase instead and throw everything they invested in out the window Bump. I dont watch a lot of football but I think it's safe to say Cleveland dun f***ed up. Does Bridgewater look like a keeper? Either way Manziel blows
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Lane Kiffin used to be an NFL coach lol. What a complete knob. Urban Meyer's playcalling on that last series was probably just as bad. 1st down throws a 50 yard bomb down the field was just plain dumb.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Alright, alright, alright...who's ready for some FOOTBALL!!!!
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Oh yeah, best playoffs out of all the other NA leagues.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Panthers, Cowboys, Steelers, and Bengals.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Panthers, Cowboys, Steelers, and Bengals. 3 of 4 ain't bad...
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Woah...too easy so far, 10-0 Panthers...Booyah!
