Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Is this actually him? Apparently Harvey will not be subjected to surgery ............ Dave Mustaine (voice) - big mistake.
Convo Verified Member Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Apparently Harvey will not be subjected to surgery ............ Dave Mustaine (voice) - big mistake. Cool. Harvey, can't wait to see you again in 2016 when you've finally recovered from the inevitable TJS.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 29, 2013 Author Posted August 29, 2013 Apparently Harvey will not be subjected to surgery ............ Dave Mustaine (voice) - big mistake. LOL. Love Megadeth.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 29, 2013 Author Posted August 29, 2013 I saw them in Montreal a few weeks ago. Dave Mustaine is such a bag of dicks. Yes he is. Killer musician. Terrible singer. Egomaniac and jealous of Metallica's success. I saw them in Moncton with Slayer 2-3 years ago.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 29, 2013 Author Posted August 29, 2013 I have often wondered what it would have been like if both James Hetfield and Dave Mustaine had stayed in Metallica. They might have become the best supergroup since Zeppelin. Or ever. Or, it might have been a colossal disaster with one or two albums produced then gone down in flames. I think more likely the latter but who knows...
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 LOL. Love Megadeth. I saw them in Montreal a few weeks ago. Dave Mustaine is such a bag of dicks. Dave Mustaine and Gavin Rossdale lost their voice. He's just a sexy dude now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hucgwfDTH8

'Tallica > Mdeth

If only James hadn't kicked Mustaine's dog James Hetfield Lars (Overrated) Mustaine > Kirk Burton > Jason Newsted > McGovney > I > Robert Trujillo

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 You like Slayer? They were awesome live. Yeah. The big four: Slayer, Anthrax, 'tallica and Megadeth King is good ---->

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 David Ellefson > Trujillo. Mexicans only play in mariachi. Yeah Marty was the best guitarist they ever had. Such a great feel to his playing
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Yeah Marty was the best guitarist they ever had. Such a great feel to his playing Holy WAR "The punishment due" is a great riff......Marty is a good guitar player.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Am I seeing this right now? There are actually metal fans on this page? I thought you were all hip hoppers only lol I will say this... Megadeth really delivered big time on "Endgame", but what the f*** happened on the last two records? Mustaine should probably hang it up, along with the rest of the "Big 4"... I prefer Kreator/Exodus over them nowadays anyway, if we're talking thrash only
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 30, 2013 Author Posted August 30, 2013 You play these tunes in your Doctors office? No. We play Rick Astley songs in Muzak versions...
TheEndIsNigh Verified Member Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 LOL at people thinking music is a sport. This one is a better drummer then that one.....A band can have the best technical musicians in the world and their music could still be crap. Anyway, Love megadeth (Rust in peace!!), but they are really one dimensional, metallica, in the 80's, we simply genius, no one combined, melody, manipulated mood and tension in their songs, with great hooks and compositions like Metallica did in the 80's. Too bad they seemed to have lost that knock for making great heavy, atmospheric music in the 90's. They have had some good stuff since then but never near their 80's material, maybe that is unfair to expect that kind of music over decades. Orion is a masterpiece for the ages. Having hetfield as your frontman never hurts, a monster on stage, epic voice (Before he blew it out), great song writerand an incredible rhythm player. Lars yes he is pretty bad now, has been for a long time. Saw Megadeth and slayer live, megadeth were not that good live when I saw them, slayer were good even though I am not a big slayer fan. A guy jumped on my shoulders when slayer was playing and bite me, most bizarre thing that happened to me in a concert.

I think more likely the latter but who knows... maybe, but metallica got huge anyway, one of the biggest music acts of the last 25 years. Don't think Mustaine in metallica would have ever worked, mustaine is too much in a control freak and just a disaster of a person overall. Who has he NOT had a run in with?

And Lars and James are control freaks too and it would have all come to blows on multiple occasional I'm sure. Yeah, it was probably never going to work.
