AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Waiting with bated breath for JP's at bat. Love the 3-2 count. Can you imagine his performance anxiety after all that has gone down? I almost feel for him
theblujay Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I don't know if I want them to win or not. Losses help with the draft pick and creating some kind of change.
Pete_7 Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I don't know if I want them to win or not. Losses help with the draft pick and creating some kind of change. I want them to win, I hate losing more than I like winning
theblujay Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I want them to win, I hate losing more than I like winning Yeah I guess tanking for a draft pick doesn't really make sense. AA said he's not selling, so I guess we might as well win and finish around .500.
admin Site Manager Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Holy f*** Tabler, what an idiot lol. There comes a point in the season where you say, 'ah we've got time' or 'it's early'. I don't think you can say that anymore. I think you have to start winning. You dont' say?
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I still say Redmond is mildly better than JA Happ.
AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 They could have taken at least two from Tampa, if only they had somewhat intelligent at bats. They seem a bit more patient tonight. All fans ask for are for strong fundamentals and energy.
Howard Roark Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I don't know if I want them to win or not. Losses help with the draft pick and creating some kind of change. The trick is to enjoy it both ways; if they win, great, you're a Jays fan and obviously enjoy seeing them win. If they lose, great, better draft pick and it lights a fire under ownership/management for 2014.
AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 See, nice short swing. Jays could have done that so many times in Tampa series. They have lost so many winnable games, that is the most frustrating thing.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 So is John Gibbons going to request a trade to his dream job at the end of this season?
theblujay Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Nice inning guys, should have been 1-2-3 if we had any defense
DH12 Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 get the pen up second time around Dodgers see something on Redmond
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Lets hope so. Trade him to the San Antonio Missions. I actually like him as a tactician, can't really find any real tangible faults in his methods. Except there is the intangible side of things... motivating players, etc... if that actually counts or not I don't know
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Melky is slow, a liability. Melky needs to GTFO
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 We need to trade every starting pitcher on our roster asap...this is pathetic how bad they are.
AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Yes, Davis should be in left. Melky isn't hitting well enough to be an upgrade.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 gotta love how Buck and tabler talk about why LA players are so good. every thing you cant say about the jays
AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 To be fair, Redmond isn't the problem
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I see these losers' fake "we're playing like a real baseball team from now on after that meeting" act didn't even last four innings. Oh, but don't worry - we've "clearly got the talent," according to Alice Anotherloss, so the right move is to stand pat.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
