DH12 Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 reyes is a superstar the jays would be in last place without him. Oh wait they are in .........
TheEndIsNigh Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 BAutista again cannot hit the outside pitch, tries to pull everything....go the other way idiot.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 its amazing how every year since AA started the team has gotten worse. I'm not even excited to watch this team anymore seems more or less forcing myself to. I as well think i need a break from the jays This team will end up better than last year's team. The issue to me is that they abandoned the plan seemingly to build hype and sell tickets with established/older, expensive and riskier players. I've said this before, but they needed to give the plan another year to recover from the pitching injuries and possibly end up with another top 10 draft pick in 2014 (it would be 2 now). The organization would be younger, healthier and with several talented youngsters in the upper minors. Anyway....
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 BAutista again cannot hit the outside pitch, tries to pull everything....go the other way idiot. It's all about getting home runs and looking like super heroes with this team
TheHurl Site Manager Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 I can't watch any more. I really can't. Need a break from this s*** show. join the CRFC makes it much easier to watch
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 It's about being the best player on the team and one of the ~30 best in baseball this year. Bautista's a fantastic player. There's always room for improvement. Him bitching at the umps about pitches that are most of the time in the strike zone makes him look like a fool. He needs to show respect if he wants respect in return.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 What's that? Canadian Rays Fan Club (formerly CDRFC) a mock fan club that my friends and I started up to mock Chuck LaMar's moves, turns out he sent us tickets to a game. Now it's not a mocking thing, I legitimately love this Rays team.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Kawasaki would have gotten that one.. lol

He hits around .240 because he cannot ht outside pitches or especially breaking balls. He would be a triple crown threat if he did. It's frustrating. No doubt he is a great player, but could be a lot better. he is not quite elite anymore. Is it was about being the best player he would try to improve on his average and hitting the outside pitches.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 oh well, Oliver warming up, we're cooked

He's a slugger, a 40+ homer threat and an OBP machine. The last time he tried to think away, it worked a bit, but then his average started to drop and he had no power (ala early last year)
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Buehrle 4Runs * (9/7) = ~5 Runs/9
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Great job Buehrle PUT DAT BALL IN PLAY (10 hits)

You don;t think away, you take the pitch where it is pitched.

TheEndIsNigh Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 I wasn't aware that Bautista has played a full season last year, nor am I aware that this is the last week of baseball? Sigh, spin it how you want he does not hit for a good average, sells out for the HR way too often on outside pitches. He played more games last and this year to see his average as a trend, look at his career average.
baseballsss Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 I wasn't aware that Bautista has played a full season last year, nor am I aware that this is the last week of baseball? someone really gets but hurt over bautista
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 And here goes our chances with Oliver in the game hope he proves me wrong
baseballsss Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Luke Scott is damn ugly yet still prob bangs 10's on a regular basis. damn

He played more games last and this year to see his average as a trend, look at his career average. Of coarse he's not going to hit for a good average! That's what I said earlier, he's going to have 40+ homers, a massive OBP and a .260+ average. Also Bautista's very different than what he was with Pittsburgh. someone really gets but hurt over bautista Are you talking about the ASG MVP?
baseballsss Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 you defend him whenever someone puts him down lol
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 there's the idiot showing up the ump again
