But we beat two banged up/mediocre teams in the first 2 rounds though! Success!

This team is easily the second best team in this conference, moreso with a healthy JV and Lowry. Holy f*** can we give them a bit of credit? Would you rather the perennial bottom 10 teams from the post-Bosh era?

Raps are obviously outmatched, and nobody expects them to win this series. I just want to see a good effort, and learn something going into next year. It's already been a very successful season. #9 pick is nice too!

The Raptors will make this close. This team very rarely gets blown out. Say what you want about them but they have a lot of heart and pride.

Heat with Bosh is easily better than this team.

I disagree, the Raptors with Lowry playing like himself are better.

Exactly. I hate when people call for a rebuild. Raps were a top 5-6 team in the NBA this year. Even if you don't win a championship thats very successful.

I agree with this sort of, but not "easily better", just "marginally better".

They're at the top of the non-elite/historic tier (GSW, SAS, OKC, CLE) alongside the Clippers imo. Hawks, Celtics and Heat in no particular order after that?

I see where the other posters who complained about too much whining are coming from now. This is a good team, but it's not the best team. There's room for improvement, the franchise is in a really good position as it stands.

I think it's just a testament to the competitive imbalance in the NBA. Raps are a really good team, but the teams above them are just WAY too good.

No because they played like dog s*** in the playoffs for the 3rd year in a row.

Because the team isnt a giant disaster like the Post Bosh teams we're all supposed to be satisfied? God forbid this team gets rid of Casey and Demar and works toward a championship.

Portland is better than those three Eastern Conference teams I think.

No they're easily better than the Raptors with a healthy team.

any season that guarentees that demar will be back is not a sucessful season in my books, we'll see in the offseason.

I don't think they are yet but they could/will be. Which is remarkable, considering that they lost half their lineup so recently. Celtics are in a pretty enviable situation right now, Hawks are good but looks like they're gonna lose a bunch of guys. I think it'll end up Celtics > Blazers > Heat > Hawks soon.

Then why were we 8 full wins better than them over the course of 82 games?

I know you're the eternal pessimist but you know full well it's not a guarantee at this point. I still think it's likely, but to say it's a guarantee is pretty ridiculous.

Great job by the mayor wasting time on this topic. Not like there other more important things he can be doing...

Spend one day working at a municipality and you will realize how wrong this is.

If they played really well in the first round and lost would you be more satisfied?

Ideally Demar does Masai a favour PR wise and decides he wants to go to LA. A sign and trade would be ideal.
