Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 NBA playoffs still the worst of any sport. That's just my opinion. You calling 4-0 sweep by SA and about to be 4-0 sweep by the Cavs playoffs? PLAYOFFS!? Unpredictability is what makes a sport enjoyable. NBA has little to none of that.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Literally no one cares. Leave and never come back to this thread

Memphis was missing Conley and Gasol, two of their best players so its understandable that the Spurs were just going to walk all over them. The Pistons/Cavs games actually have been close, though the Pistons have always wanked it near the end. Boston/Atlanta has been a good series. Possibly the Heat/Hornets can go to 6-7 games. The game the Mavs won was really entertaining, and yeah they'll probably lose the series. Wait until the second round - potential OKC/Spurs matchup?! The NHL won't be able to top that one.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 I mean I had fun with WTF(West Texas Fan) for awhile and his dates and flying Jets, Vegas mogul and being a College recruited pitcher, yet being a King and Bay, money monger, now a high up in Rogers, etc, it was fun... now it's lame, especially when he's certainly not 30 yet. Maybe, he's an actor, say...Leonardo Dicaprio, I don't f***ing know... yet the s*** is fresh and it's become a T-Rex full of s***. Lets stop this s***, please. K.....Thx!

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 That Hawks/Celtics game was entertaining, especially near the end. Series tied 2-2. F U Trouba
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 lol it's not even that. He's right in that the first round in the NBA overall is a lot less competitive than the other major sports in NA. Do we really need to hear that more than once? BTS doesnt watch the NBA, how often does he post in here?

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Meanwhile bookies get hammered on the Spurs...
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 That's the thing in the NBA - an injury to a key player like Steph Curry could just open things up for any team. We saw that with Cleveland last year (lost Love and then Irving in Game 1 of the Finals). Spurs will have a tough task vs. OKC, though you have to like them now if Curry is out for longer.

The Spurs are a possible exception to this. Their bench is a playoff team, which is insane.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 The Spurs are a possible exception to this. Their bench is a playoff team, which is insane. Yup nailed it. Seriously what is frustrating is that all the Raptors need to do is beat a s*** team like Indiana, and a somewhat decent team in Miami or Charlotte in the 2nd Round and make the East Finals. Especially without Bosh, Miami would be an ideal 2nd round matchup for a team like the Raps. If Cleveland loses a star player or two, then huge advantage. That is really the only chance of the Raptors winning something.
