SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Damn, we really needed that Patterson 3 to drop
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 It's a shame, the effort in the second half has been miles ahead of the first, just need to play like that consistently to get out of this funk. Also, Leonard is pretty good.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 The offense in the 4th has been really fun to watch, lots of ball movement, no iso-hero ball, good shots
GD Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Is it just me or has 2Pat been really off the last little while? Sexy no-look from Kyle though
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Those last 3 3s by Kyle really helped out my fanduel team
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Lmao this team might not even make it to 50 wins now. What a leafian collapse.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Is it just me or has 2Pat been really off the last little while? Sexy no-look from Kyle though He's been pretty terrible over the last month +. Not worried at all about him though. His effort level is still very high. Shot is just not dropping.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Raps TV ratings are awful. Jays ST game even beat them by a good margin. https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/eh-game/the-great-canadian-ratings-report--curling-sweeps-aside-the-maple-leafs-175355663.html
GD Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Raps are inverse of Jays. TV is crap but in-game atmosphere is amazing.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 In game atmosphere would be a lot more amazing if they stopped treating the crowd as if we all have ADD.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I don't think it helps the raptors that they're on a different channel every night.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Corey Brewer is going off in the Rockets-Blazers game. Just got away with a blatant intentional foul, but if the stats they showed are right he's scored Houston's last 17 points.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I don't think it helps the raptors that they're on a different channel every night. meh might make a difference of 20,000. Thing about the Jays is they are truly a national team and have done a great job marketing the franchise that way. Barely anyone gives a s*** about the Raptors outside of Toronto/GTA.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I don't think it helps the raptors that they're on a different channel every night. Nothing you can do. You can't play the games on TSN because curling is on every single night. Not sure why Sportsnet buries so many games on 360 or Sportsnet One.

The jays also have a 20 year head start and 2 championships while the raptors haven't done s*** ever unfortunately.

And, let's be real here, TV ratings are driven by old white people. Baseball/curling is much more appealing to old white people than basketball. Younger kids are much more likely to stream games.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Bebe sent to D-League. http://www.nba.com/raptors/press-releases/nogueira_031215

Maybe 20,000 at the absolute most?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Fantastic game between the Spurs and Cavs. LeBron and Kyrie are making TOUGH shots, Irving has nearly 60 points.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Good performance defensively tonight. Ross' spacing has been really nice in the 3rd quarter too, you can see Kyle has much better energy after those games off
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Whiteside has a massive wingspan, the guy looks like a poor man's Anthony Davis.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Bruno's wearing his track suit, hopefully he gets some minutes near the end of this one.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Game's over...the Raps needed this one, Portland tomorrow yikes!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Whiteside has a massive wingspan, the guy looks like a poor man's Anthony Davis. You should see the Jewish Giant...GD!!!!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Lowry with a performance reminiscent of his pre-funk play. 19/8/8 on 7/12 shooting with good defense. Hopefully this game is the spark he needed, the energy has been there these past two games.
Caper Verified Member Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 I never experienced a longer last minute of basketball in my life.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 I never experienced a longer last minute of basketball in my life. It's worse when you're actually at the game IMO. I hate the people who leave 1 or 2 minutes before the game ends and makes everyone in their row get up, but those last 120 seconds felt like the last 2 minutes of a close super bowl..
