Lol Bruno got 4 fouls in less than a min in the D league game.

 

Edit: also threw away the game with an awful inbound pass.

 

You can tell he has potential but he obviously still needs a lot of work developing.

 

that inbound pass was brutal. but 13 points and 7 rebounds shows his potential. 5-14 from the field though tonight, but He'll get better as he plays more. Got in 20 minutes today

biggest thing for him is to learn about the game and play it the right way. I don't know if language or if its just experience but his basketball IQ is very low right now. Hopefully it improves with game experience because he is so raw on the court.

That's why Toronto needs it's own D-league team. How can you really develop a player the way you want to when 12 or 13 teams are sending guys down also competing for minutes... and all those guys want to get noticed. If you have your own team, you can play within systems that mirror the big team.

 

Toronto really did drop the ball. They could put a D-League team in Hamilton.

His length will allow him to be successful on the defensive end at least. Offensive game is probably 2+ years away. He is a little slower than I thought he was though. Needs to be more explosive.

He has potential on defense but still needs a lot of work in that area too. Gets blown by quite a bit and takes unnecessary risks on that end of the floor. Still a good pick as late 1st round picks typically don't turn out to be anything anyways.

Lmfao. Vasquez got embarrassed on that ankle breaker, he's a lucky man that Lawson missed the jumper.

He is really annoying me on these switches, taking 18+ foot jumpers every time. Patterson had Lawson sealed down low

He was decent last year. I can live with a 13 million contract to a backup PG being his worst signing.

 

Agreed. I wish Casey would reign him in a bit though. Shoots way too much and usually aren't quality shots either
